Final Service of Deconsecration

For the last number of years, our congregation has been planning the revitalization of our church property. As an English Congregation on Montreal’s South shore we saw our numbers decreasing over the past years as our members relocated. Negotiations with  The Presbyterian Homes Foundation has resulting in the selling of our property to form a new entity which  will break ground on a 90 unit assisted living accommodation very shortly. Good Shepherd will hold services in the chapel of the new building once it is ready to be occupied.

As a result, Good Shepherd held our last church service, a Service of Deconsecration, in this current building November 14^th, at 4pm, followed by a reception in our fellowship hall. See photos

The new premise to be built on our will be call Jardins Heritage, an assisted living complex that offers services in English as well as French to a senior comunity.
